Membership Terms

These Membership Terms govern the purchase, renewal, use, suspension, cancellation, and termination of Cashmere memberships and related membership benefits.

Effective October 7, 2026

These Membership Terms (“Membership Terms”) form part of the agreement between the individual member (“Member,” “you,” or “your”) and Cashmere (“Cashmere,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, renewing, accessing, or using a Cashmere membership, you agree to these Membership Terms, Cashmere's Terms & Conditions, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and any applicable event-specific or transaction-specific terms presented to you.

If any non-waivable provision of applicable law conflicts with these Membership Terms, the applicable law controls only to the extent of that conflict.

1. Membership Eligibility and Acceptance

Cashmere is an application-based private membership community. Submission of an application, payment, prior membership, invitation, referral, or other interaction with Cashmere does not guarantee acceptance, continued membership, renewal, readmission, admission to another chapter, or access to any particular feature, event, benefit, or person.

Acceptance into Cashmere does not create a permanent or vested right to membership. Continued membership is subject to these Membership Terms, the Community Guidelines, applicable policies, continued eligibility, payment obligations, and Cashmere's ongoing determination that membership remains appropriate for the community.

2. Membership Plans and Fees

Membership plans, durations, prices, included benefits, chapter availability, and promotional offers are those disclosed at the time of purchase and may vary by chapter, Member, market, or purchase date.

Cashmere may change prices for future purchases or renewal periods. A pricing change will not retroactively alter a membership period already paid for. Notice of changes applicable to an upcoming renewal will be provided when required by applicable law.

A Member may request or select a different available plan for a future renewal. Unless Cashmere expressly offers an immediate plan-change option, a plan change becomes effective at the next applicable renewal.

3. Automatic Renewal

Unless canceled before the applicable renewal date, memberships automatically renew for the same membership duration at the then-current price applicable to the Member's membership and chapter, together with applicable taxes and authorized charges.

By purchasing an automatically renewing membership, you authorize Cashmere and its payment processor to charge your payment method for recurring renewal charges until automatic renewal is canceled in accordance with the cancellation methods made available by Cashmere.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 Cancellation of Future Renewal.

Cancellation means cancellation of future automatic renewal. It does not terminate or surrender membership time already purchased. Following cancellation, the Member remains entitled to use the remaining paid membership period, subject to these Membership Terms, the Community Guidelines, and any applicable suspension or termination.

4.2 Voluntary Non-Use.

Failure or election not to use the application, attend events, communicate with other Members, or otherwise participate does not entitle the Member to a refund, credit, extension, or prorated reimbursement and does not stop the membership period unless an eligible Membership Protection or Membership Hold has been activated.

4.3 Prepaid Memberships.

Except as expressly stated by Cashmere or required by applicable law, prepaid membership fees are nonrefundable and are not prorated because a Member elects to stop participating before expiration of the paid term.

5. Payment Failures

If an authorized charge fails, Cashmere may retry the charge and may restrict or suspend membership, application, event, or other access while an amount remains past due. Cashmere may permit the Member to update payment information before membership is terminated or allowed to expire. Cashmere is not required to provide access to paid membership benefits while required payment remains outstanding.

6. Complimentary Membership Protection

Eligible membership plans may include complimentary Membership Protection, which permits a Member to pause active membership and preserve unused paid membership time, subject to the following limits and conditions.

  • Six-Month Membership: up to three (3) months of complimentary Membership Protection in the aggregate, across no more than two (2) separate Protection activations during that membership term.
  • Annual Membership: up to twelve (12) months of complimentary Membership Protection in the aggregate, across no more than four (4) separate Protection activations during that membership term.

There is no minimum duration for an activation. Each activation counts against the applicable activation limit regardless of its duration. Resuming membership does not eliminate unused Protection time, but unused Protection does not roll over into a subsequent membership term.

During valid complimentary Protection, the active membership period is tolled and the applicable expiration or renewal date is extended by the amount of eligible Protection actually used. When the Protection period ends or the available allowance is exhausted, the remaining paid membership period automatically resumes.

Upon commencement of a new eligible Six-Month or Annual membership term, the applicable Protection allowance and activation limit reset for that new term.

Membership Protection is intended for a genuine temporary cessation of active participation. Cashmere may deny, restrict, or revoke Protection privileges if it reasonably determines that the feature is being manipulated, fraudulently used, or abused.

7. Paid Membership Hold

Where offered, eligible Members may affirmatively elect a paid Membership Hold at the price disclosed at the time of election. Cashmere will not automatically enroll a Member in a paid Membership Hold solely because complimentary Membership Protection expires or because the Member fails to take action.

7.1 Monthly Membership.

A Monthly Member may request a paid Hold during a current paid membership period. The current paid period continues through its scheduled expiration, after which the elected paid Hold begins in place of the normal membership renewal.

7.2 Three-Month Membership.

A Three-Month Member becomes eligible to activate a paid Hold after the first thirty (30) days of the membership term. Upon activation, remaining prepaid membership time is preserved until active membership resumes.

7.3 Hold Charges.

Each paid Hold charge is nonrefundable and non-prorated. A Member may resume active membership before the end of a paid Hold billing period; however, any unused portion of the Hold billing period is forfeited and will not be refunded, credited, carried forward, or applied to another charge.

7.4 Maximum Duration.

Unless Cashmere expressly approves an exception, a paid Membership Hold may continue for no more than twelve (12) consecutive months.

7.5 Resumption.

When a paid Hold ends, preserved membership time resumes. Normal renewal under the Member's selected plan also resumes unless the Member previously canceled future automatic renewal.

8. Membership Status While Paused

While Membership Protection or a paid Membership Hold is active, the Member is not considered an active Member for purposes of ordinary membership privileges. Cashmere may hide or deactivate the Member's profile and restrict access to member discovery, likes, messaging, event registration, event attendance, Member Collection benefits, and other active-member features.

Cashmere may retain account information, conversations, settings, and membership history during the pause. Limited account access may remain available for billing, account management, Hold or Protection management, and resumption.

A Member may resume active membership at any permitted time, including on the date of an event. Event attendance nevertheless requires active membership at check-in and compliance with all separate RSVP, ticket, capacity, age, payment, and event-specific requirements. Resumption does not create or guarantee an event reservation.

9. Events, Tickets, Reservations, and No-Shows

Cashmere may offer complimentary and separately paid events. Event dates, times, venues, capacities, formats, activities, age requirements, admission requirements, and availability are subject to change.

9.1 Member Cancellation of Paid Events.

Unless different event-specific terms are disclosed at purchase, a Member's separately purchased event ticket is refundable if canceled at least thirty (30) days before the event and nonrefundable thereafter. Cashmere may voluntarily grant an exception in its sole discretion. An exception does not establish a right, precedent, or obligation with respect to any other transaction or Member.

9.2 Cancellation or Rescheduling by Cashmere.

If Cashmere cancels a separately paid event outright, Cashmere will refund the applicable event ticket price. If Cashmere reschedules an event, the existing ticket may remain valid for the rescheduled event subject to any event-specific terms communicated to ticket holders.

9.3 No-Shows.

Repeated failure to attend limited-capacity events after reserving a space may result in temporary or continuing RSVP restrictions. Cashmere may require an attendance deposit or other reservation condition for Members with repeated no-shows or for particular limited-capacity events.

10. Member Collection and Promotional Benefits

Cashmere may make Member Collection items, gifts, or promotional benefits available to eligible Members. Unless Cashmere expressly states otherwise, eligibility is limited to no more than one applicable Member Collection item during a monthly collection period and generally requires actual attendance at a qualifying event.

Unclaimed Member Collection items do not accrue or accumulate. No entitlement arises for a month in which the Member does not attend an eligible event, is paused, or is otherwise ineligible. Unclaimed items have no cash value, need not be shipped, and are not redeemable for a refund, credit, or future item.

Cashmere may alter, substitute, delay, limit, or discontinue any Member Collection item, design, material, packaging, quantity, release, or related benefit due to supplier availability, manufacturing or quality-control issues, shipping or carrier disruptions, customs or import restrictions, tariffs, sanctions, governmental action, shortages, labor conditions, extreme weather, natural disaster, force majeure, or other business or operational circumstances.

Images, descriptions, anticipated release dates, and announced items do not constitute a guarantee that a particular item will be distributed. Except where required by applicable law, no specific substitute, refund, credit, replacement, or other compensation is guaranteed.

After distribution, Cashmere is not responsible for loss, theft, scratching, tarnishing, misuse, accidental damage, ordinary wear, or other subsequent condition of an item. Cashmere may elect to replace an apparent manufacturing defect while supplies remain available, but no lifetime or continuing replacement warranty applies unless expressly stated in writing.

11. Chapter Membership and Transfers

Membership is associated with a designated Cashmere chapter. Membership in one chapter does not create an automatic right to transfer to, join, or receive unrestricted access to another chapter.

A Member may request a chapter transfer. All transfers are subject to destination-chapter capacity and Cashmere's approval. Good standing or prior membership history may be considered but does not guarantee approval.

If an approved destination chapter carries a higher membership price, the Member must pay the applicable price difference as a condition of the transfer and at the time the transfer becomes effective. Membership in a lower-priced chapter does not preserve the lower price following transfer to a higher-priced chapter.

12. Non-Transferability

Membership and all associated membership time, accounts, credentials, digital membership cards, QR codes, event access rights, Member Collection eligibility, and other personal benefits are strictly non-transferable. They may not be sold, assigned, gifted, shared, conveyed, or transferred to another person.

13. Suspension, Restriction, Non-Renewal, and Termination

Cashmere may warn, restrict, remove from an event, suspend, decline to renew, or terminate a Member when Cashmere reasonably determines that action is warranted by conduct, safety, privacy, fraud, abuse, payment status, violation of the Community Guidelines or these Membership Terms, protection of other Members or venues, protection of Cashmere's operations or reputation, or preservation of the character and integrity of the community.

Cashmere is not required to use progressive discipline, issue a warning, or provide a particular number of warnings before imposing a restriction, suspension, non-renewal, or termination.

If membership is terminated because of Member misconduct, fraud, abuse, deliberate privacy violations, safety concerns, or another material violation by the Member, unused prepaid membership time is nonrefundable except to the extent expressly required by applicable law.

Cashmere may, in its sole discretion, voluntarily provide an exception or accommodation. A voluntary exception does not create an obligation to provide the same or similar treatment to that Member or any other person in the future.

14. Former Members and Reapplication

When membership ends, any later request to return to Cashmere requires a new application under the admissions standards and procedures then in effect. Prior acceptance or membership does not guarantee readmission, priority, pricing, availability, or acceptance into any chapter.

15. No Guarantee of Results, Usage, or Event Availability

Membership provides access to membership opportunities and benefits made available by Cashmere during the applicable active membership period. Cashmere does not guarantee any minimum number of matches, likes, messages, introductions, dates, relationships, event interactions, or other social or romantic outcome.

Cashmere does not guarantee any minimum number, frequency, type, venue, capacity, or schedule of events. Cashmere may add, remove, modify, relocate, reschedule, restrict, or cancel events based on venue availability, attendance, weather, safety, business conditions, operational requirements, or other circumstances.

16. Modification, Suspension, or Discontinuation of Services

Cashmere may modify, suspend, relocate, replace, or discontinue any chapter, membership offering, event program, feature, benefit, or service at any time due to business, operational, legal, regulatory, safety, market, venue, supplier, technical, financial, or other circumstances.

Cashmere may, in its sole discretion, provide a voluntary accommodation in an individual circumstance. Any accommodation is voluntary and does not create an obligation to provide the same or similar accommodation to that Member or any other Member.

17. Changes to Membership Protection, Hold, Benefits, and These Terms

Cashmere may change the availability, pricing, structure, eligibility requirements, limits, or rules applicable to Membership Protection, paid Membership Hold, Member Collection benefits, events, or other membership features for future membership terms and renewals, subject to applicable law.

Benefits expressly included in an already-purchased membership term will be administered in accordance with the terms applicable to that purchase, except where a modification is permitted by those terms or required by law.

Cashmere may update these Membership Terms from time to time. The effective date appearing at the top of this page identifies the version then in effect. Where applicable law requires advance notice or affirmative consent to a material change, Cashmere will provide such notice or obtain such consent as required.

18. Reservation of Rights

Cashmere's failure to enforce any provision in a particular circumstance does not waive its right to enforce that provision later. The exercise of discretion, issuance of a credit, accommodation of a Member, or voluntary exception in one circumstance does not establish a continuing practice, precedent, or entitlement.

Nothing in these Membership Terms is intended to waive any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all rights and discretion expressly reserved to Cashmere remain reserved.
