We're here to make dating feel more human.
Cashmere isn't here to referee every date, breakup, unanswered text, or disagreement. Singles date. Sometimes they date more than one person. Sometimes things work out, and sometimes they don't.
What we do care about is the character of the community: honesty, consent, privacy, safety, and how members treat one another when things don't go their way.
What's inside Cashmere stays inside Cashmere.
A private club only works when members can trust that their profile, conversations, membership, and personal information aren't being carried outside the club.
Do not screenshot, copy, forward, retype, paraphrase, describe, photograph, or otherwise distribute another member's Cashmere profile, private messages, membership information, photos, video, dating activity, or other information obtained through Cashmere to people outside the club.
This includes sending information to friends or group chats, publishing it online, or using it in dating-review, gossip, exposé, “Are We Dating the Same Guy?”-type groups, or similar communities. You may not use Cashmere access—or photos taken at Cashmere events—to solicit “dirt,” investigate who someone may be dating, or crowdsource information about another member.
Honesty is part of admission.
Your identity, photos, age, relationship status, and other material application/profile information should be truthful. Material intentional deception—including catfishing or concealing a spouse or committed partner—can result in suspension or removal.
Cashmere can consider applicants who are separated, polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, married, or partnered when their situation is openly and honestly disclosed, their existing relationship permits it, and their profile accurately represents their availability to date. Secretly looking for a side relationship behind a partner's back is not the same thing.
Dating multiple people while you're genuinely available to date is normal. Cashmere does not require exclusivity.
Interest has to go both ways.
A clear “no,” request to stop, or block is a boundary—not an invitation to negotiate. Do not repeatedly contact someone after they have clearly asked you to stop, circumvent a block, use another account to reach them, or use an event to force an interaction.
Flirting, kissing, and consensual affection are part of adult dating. Unwanted sexual touching, coercion, sexually aggressive behavior, repeated sexual comments after discomfort is expressed, or other non-consensual conduct is not.
Some things are bigger than dating drama.
Cashmere may review credible reports involving sexual assault, physical assault, stalking, coercion, serious harassment, credible threats, domestic violence, or other conduct that could reasonably put members at risk—even when the conduct occurred outside the app or an official Cashmere event.
We may request supporting information such as messages, screenshots, photographs, witness information, event records, or police/court documentation. Cashmere is not a court and does not determine criminal guilt. We decide whether continued membership or event access is appropriate based on the information reasonably available to us.
When safety warrants it, a member may be temporarily suspended while a concern is reviewed. Cashmere may limit what it discloses about a report and may act before contacting the reported member when necessary for safety.
Have fun. Don't become the problem.
Members are expected to treat Cashmere staff, venue teams, bartenders, servers, instructors, photographers, drivers, vendors, and hosts with the same respect expected between members.
Members are people, not leads.
Cashmere is not a prospecting database. Do not mass-solicit members, harvest the directory for customers, pitch MLMs, recruit indiscriminately, promote investments, solicit donations, or otherwise use access to the community primarily for commercial gain.
Organic networking is normal. If someone happens to need what you do professionally, have the conversation. Just don't join Cashmere to turn members into a customer list.
Do not exploit romantic or social relationships for scams, deceptive financial requests, repeated money solicitation, or manipulative investment schemes.
Breakups don't cancel basic decency.
Cashmere generally will not referee ghosting, hurt feelings, who paid for dinner, breakups, disagreements about exclusivity, or the fact that another single member is dating other people.
But maliciously publishing genuinely private or intimate information to humiliate, threaten, harass, retaliate against, or expose another member may become a Cashmere concern. Secret recordings or private communications should never be weaponized or distributed.
Your membership is yours.
Accounts, digital membership cards, QR codes, profiles, directories, and event credentials are personal and non-transferable. Don't let someone else browse the member directory through your account, impersonate you, use your credentials, or access private member information through you.
Repeatedly reserving limited-capacity events and not showing up may result in temporary RSVP restrictions.
Preferences are personal. Respect isn't.
You are completely free to decide who you are attracted to and who you want to date. Politely declining someone is not misconduct.
Degrading, threatening, or hostile treatment of members because of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or similar personal characteristics is not consistent with the community Cashmere is building.
Cashmere may also reconsider membership when serious off-platform conduct or credible information reasonably raises concerns about member safety, privacy, integrity, or the well-being of the club.
Tell the truth—both ways.
Members should feel comfortable raising genuine safety concerns. A report that cannot be substantiated is not automatically a false report.
Knowingly fabricating a serious accusation, manufacturing evidence, or deliberately using the reporting process to harm another member is itself a serious violation and may result in suspension or termination.
Tell us privately. For emergencies, call authorities first.
If you experience or become aware of serious misconduct involving a Cashmere member, contact Cashmere privately and provide whatever supporting information you reasonably have. Do not conduct your own investigation, rally other members, or publish accusations online.
If there is immediate danger, suspected criminal conduct, or an urgent safety issue, contact 911 or appropriate law enforcement first. Cashmere is not an emergency service or law-enforcement agency. Our role is to determine what action, if any, is appropriate regarding membership and access to the Cashmere community.
No mandatory three-strikes system.
Not every problem deserves the same response. Depending on severity, history, available information, and safety concerns, Cashmere may use a conversation, warning, event removal, access restriction, temporary suspension, or membership termination.
Serious violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without a prior warning. Membership is a privilege, and Cashmere reserves the right to take reasonable action when conduct is inconsistent with the safety, privacy, integrity, or character of the community—even when a specific situation is not listed word-for-word in these Guidelines.
There is no guaranteed formal appeal process. If you believe significant information was missed, you may contact Cashmere. We may reconsider a decision when appropriate, but reconsideration is at Cashmere's discretion.
Be someone people are glad is part of the club.
That's really what all of this comes down to. Date. Meet people. Go out. Have stories worth telling. Just protect the trust that makes Cashmere different.
